Teresa Caudill graduated with her BA in elementary education (K-8) in 1981 from Morehead State University. She attained her MA in elementary education and received her reading specialist certification in 1985 from the University of Kentucky. In 1987, she received her Rank I in educational administration from the University of Kentucky. Teresa is currently pursuing her superintendent's certification and considering entering the doctoral program.
Teresa began her teaching career at Bethel Elementary School where she taught first through fourth grade. She then taught grades six through eight at Owingsville Elementary and Bath County Middle School. Teresa moved to the district level as the district assessment coordinator, and this is her sixteenth year in this position.
Teresa likes to stay active with her professional work and participates in many cadres, groups, and organizations. She is currently a member of KAAC, KASA, Delta Kappa Gamma, and is a distinguished member of the Commonwealth Institute for Teachers.
"My own children inspired me to go into the teaching profession. My desire is to be an inspiration for all students to pursue their dreams and know that if they work hard anything is possible. Children are my passion. I want to be part of their growth and learning and to see them achieve milestones throughout their education and their lives."
