Success for Bath County STLP at 2016 State Conference

Congratulations to the Bath County Schools’ Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP)!  The state championship event, held at Rupp Arena, was attended by over 10,000 students. The following Bath County students competed at the state STLP competition and received awards for their hard work.

April 2016 Board Spotlight - OES Annie Jr.

Students from the OES Drama Club in Grades 2-5 (pictured above with Superintendent Harvey Tackett and OES Principal Mark Leet) under the direction of Ms. Tanya Pratt performed a montage of songs from the musical Annie, Jr. for the April 2016 Board of Education meeting.  The performance was excellent, and the audience was quite impressed with the talent of these students.  Each student received a Certificate of Appreciation from Superintendent Tackett, and the group received a standing ovation from the audience.


BCMS 6th Grade Physical & Immunization Requirements

Parent/Guardians of incoming 6th grade students,

Please be advised that a physical as well as specific immunizations are required for entry into 6th grade.  The required immunizations are: Tdap and Meningococcal.  A 2nd varicella vaccine is required unless there is medical documentation of your child having chicken pox.  The HPV vaccine is highly encouraged but not required.

If you have already had these completed, please turn in this information to the school health unit as soon as possible.  If your child needs to have these completed, they can be performed at your local health department or your child’s doctor. 


Bath County Summer Food Service Program

Bath County Schools are participating in the Summer Food Service Program from June 6, 2016 to July 15, 2016.
