OES Dedication Ceremony

Owingsville Elementary hosted a Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, November 16, 2014, to welcome all stakeholders to visit the newly constructed and remodeled areas of the school.  Superintent Harvey Tackett, Board Chair Shelly Sanders and Board Vice-Chair Barb Razor dedicated the new gym, cafeteria and classrooms that have recently been completed.  After a welcome from Mr. Tackett and remarks from Principal Jarrod Slone, Owingsville Elementary students led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Karson Tolle sang "The Star Spangled Banner."  Representatives from the project's architectural firm, construction management company, and HVAC renovation company spoke and explained their roles in this construction project.  After the presentation in the new gymnasium, visitors toured new classrooms and visited the new cafeteria for refreshments provided by the Food Service Department.
