This photograph was taken while I was capturing photos this Summer for my 4H Color Horticultural Collection, which I enter in to the local 4H Fair and the Kentucky State Fair.  I enjoy photographing flowers because there are so many different vibrant colors to work with and many different textures, which can make the photograph very interesting.  This photograph was taken in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in a flower garden at The Island.  I used the center of the flower as my focal point and zoomed in on that to show the color and texture details of the flower.  By zooming in on the one particular bloom it really enhances the true detail of the individual bloom and made I look like it was floating above the other blooms.  It also gives great detail of the texture and shades of colors in the center of the bloom.  This photograph was taken with my Cannon Rebel T5 DSLR, using the EF-S 18-55mm lens.  I then saved the original image and gave it the name of “Daisy May”.
