School News

Food Service Grant Awarded

Bath County Schools has been awarded a Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) USDA grant.  The grant is administered by the USDA and the Division of School and Community Nutrition.  KDE and coordinated by Bath County Schools Child Nutrition Services.  A fresh fruit or vegetable snack will be provided for all students at least three days each week at the following schools:

Crossroads Elementary                                             Owingsville Elementary

The Goal:

  • Create healthier school environments by providing healthier food choices
  • Expand the variety of fruits and vegetables children experience
  • Increase children's fruit and vegetable consumption
  • Make a difference in children's diets to impact their present and future health.

Hybrid Meal Delivery Schedule

While on the Hybrid Schedule, the Bath County School meal delivery time will be on Monday and Thursday with the one-hour early delivery schedule.  On Wednesdays there will be no bus delivery, however you can pick up meals at your child’s school.  Meals can be picked up at the back door of each cafeteria location between 11:00 -1:00.  If you have any questions please call Vickie Wells 606-674-6314 or email Vickie.wells@bath.kyschools.us

Hybrid (Blended Learning) group now visable in Infinite Campus

The ability to view your student's Blended Learning Group is now available in both the Infinite Campus parent and student portal. As a reminder BCS North will attend Monday and Tuesday, BCS South will attend Thursday and Friday, 100% Virtual will remain online. Students can login to their student portal by clicking the SSO bar on their IC login page and use their email login information. Parents will use their login information that they were given during portal setup. If a parent has forgotten their login, please contact your school's Counselor.

Bath County Angle Tree Program

The following is a message to 2019 (last year) Angel Tree Participants: 

 

October 16th is the deadline for you to return your Angel Tree application that you received in the mail.  Your application needs to be returned in the pre addressed envelope to Christian Social Services Center by October 16th.  Thank you for your cooperation in following the new application process.   

 

The following is a message to 2020 New Angel Tree Participants:

 

The Bath County Community Christmas Program will be accepting new applications for the Angel Tree Program.  The program serves children birth to seniors in high school.  Applications will not be accepted after October 23, 2020. Click here for an application.

 

If you did not participate last year or if you did not receive an application in the mail, you may contact one of the following organizations to sign-up for the Angel Tree Program by calling any of the following: Christian Social Services (606-674-6906), Owingsville Elementary School FRC (606-674-2722, Extension 3506), Crossroads Elementary School FRC (606-674-2101, Extension 5159), Bath County Middle School YSC (606-674-2110) or Bath County High School YSC (606-674-3078).  School sites will be closed for fall break on Oct. 15th and 16th.

Hybrid Transportation Information

Please refer to the list of busses and drivers below for the upcoming hybrid schedule.  If you are a non-transported student your school will communicate with you on the day you will be attending.  Also, you can find this information on your student or parent infinite campus portal site.
