COVID-19 Resources / School Reentry Resources
My heart is in the improvement of the lives of our children in Bath County. I do not take this calling lightly and I will intentionally strive to be a positive, encouraging, and supportive face that your child will look forward to seeing each day.
For the remainder of the school year, the Bath County Board of Education will provide Covid-19 information to inform parents and guardians of quarantined or positive students and staff due to Covid -19 exposure. This exposure may have been on a school campus or during other activities affecting in-person instruction. The Bath County Board of Education and schools work closely with the Gateway District Health Department to identify anyone who had close contact with the person to determine if they might have been exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19.
Dear Citizens of Bath County:
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you, the citizens of Bath County, a host of partners and partner agencies too numerous to name, and the more than 300 employees who have educated our students over the 9 years that I have been here in Bath County. I have been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve this county as your school superintendent and be a part of such a great school district.
