One Call Text

If Bath County Schools calls you with voice notification messages and you would like to be able to receive important alerts to your cell phone as text messages instead of voice messages, read the following instructions:   If you have a text message plan, these messages will be included in that plan; otherwise, standard text message charges apply. If you would like to receive text message notifications, text the word ALERT to 22300 or visit the One Call website:  www.OneCallNow.com/TextAlerts.

Again, to receive text message notifications, text the word ALERT to 22300 or visit the website www.OneCallNow.com/TextAlerts.  Only phones that are in the call list from Bath County Schools can receive text messages from the Bath County One Call System.  If you want to add a cell phone number or other phone number to a student record, please contact John Slone at the Bath County Board of Education Office (606) 674-6314; or you may email john.slone@bath.kyschools.us instead.

Phones that receive text messages do not receive the phone call concerning that same announcement.  This will only work for phone numbers that are associated with a student or employee of Bath County Schools.  Text messages are only sent for information that is brief enough to be a text message, like the school closing information. The advantage of signing up for text messages is that the information comes to your phone much faster than the phone call.

If there are questions or for assistance, call John Slone at the Bath County Board of Education Office (606) 674-6314.
