On July 15th- 19th, 2019 the Bath County FFA Chapter attended the Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center in Hardinsburg, KY for a week of FFA Camp. Members in attendance are Selah Bussell, Christa Stump, Jessica Gray, Jasmin Jones, and Boone Howard. The chaperone for FFA Camp was Ms. Jamie Wingate and the advisor was Jon Hammons.
Bath County FFA officers attended camp with a total of 293 members and guests representing 24 chapters on site during the 5th week of FFA Camp. All officers attended and participated in officer classes, various special interest classes, and multiple team building activities such as the Ropes Course to improve leadership skills and development.
While participating with the FFA Camp Athletics program Jessica Gray made it on the All Star Volleyball team and Selah Bussell made it on the All Star Softball team.
Jasmin Jones was a recipient of the SAE Grant which was awarded during the 5th week at FFA Camp. Her SAE (Supervised Agriculture Experience) project will be raising bottle calves.
